In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 News and Magazines apps on the Android platform in Oman experienced varied performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Twitter Lite experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads, with a peak of 2.2K in mid-August. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 700-800 throughout the quarter.

The National - UAE, World News had an initial surge in downloads, reaching 2.1K in early July. However, the numbers dropped off sharply, with minimal downloads recorded from August onwards.
